What is a mix of hip-hop, electronica and jazz..combined with traditional Chinese instruments?..You guessed it-- The Shanghai Restoration Project. The 2006 release is self titled and much influenced by 1930s Shanghai jazz bands. Its really like nothing else out there and very enjoyable.
